Iain Gillies

Iain is a senior architectural technologist and accredited energy assessor with 20+ years experience, with extensive experience in large multi occupational residential buildings including extra cares, residential homes and large scale housing developments.

With a personal interest in low carbon construction techniques, renewable energy and thermal insulation, Iain advises and leads the practices commitment to ensuring our clients are fully aware of every opportunity to conserve energy and carbon both during construction and use.

As an accredited energy assessor Ian can provide clients and fellow construction consultants with expert advice in respect of grant opportunities and capital vs pay back calculations for technological or building fabric investments.

Boho 10 Masterplan

Commissioned by Middlesbrough Council & the Tees Valley Combined Authority Logic prepared a site wide masterplan for the regeneration of the digital quarter of Middlesbrough affectionately known as the ‘Boho zone.’ Totalling a potential investment opportunity of £250M the masterplan identified opportunities for commercial, residential, leisure, retail & education use.

Boho 10 Tower

Working directly for the Mayor of Middlesbrough, Logic were commissioned to redesign our original concept for Boho 10 and take it ‘to another level’ to better reflect the aspirations of the towns growth.

Following a design based tender Logic were commissioned to prepare conceptual proposals for the next building in the digital quarter of middlesbrough town centre, affectionately known as the ‘Boho zone.’
