Appointed following a tender exercise, Logic are currently assisting Vinci Asset Management with the remodel and interior refurbishment of the central point contact centre atrium and reception desk for Sheffield Council.
Having analysed the existing building constraints Logic prepared a design solution that repositioned all of the councils service counters and facilities to help make the building operate more efficiently with heavily used desks located at the front of the building and less used and more sensitive operations located to the rear. In addition a new central waiting area was proposed to locate all visitors to the building in one central space to aid surveillance and safeguarding.
In addition Logic identified further external modifications to create a new staff entrance providing indecent access to the main council reception.
