Northern Studios

    Working in partnership with Hartlepool Borough Council, Logic have assisted with the conversion of the towns former bus depot and maintenance workshop to create new teaching spaces and one of the largest film studio spaces in etc North of England including a high tech ‘green’ screen studio

    The Logic...

    Having analysed both existing buildings Logic identified a sympathetic design solution that located new entrances to respond to direct lines of sight and ease of access. Internally rooms were arranged around the perimeter so they can benefit from natural light and ventilation whilst maintaining flexibility to the larger internal spaces with minimal circulation. Both buildings will enable the Northern School of Art to extend their courses but also provide a much needed independent film studio for hire from Production companies shooting films, documentaries and dramas in the North of England.

    Boho X

    Working directly for the Mayor of Middlesbrough, Logic were commissioned to redesign our original concept for Boho 10 and take it ‘to another level’ to better reflect the aspirations of the towns growth. Commissioned by Middlesbrough Council and the Tees Valley Combined Authority we are proposing a site wide masterplan for the regeneration of the digital quarter of Middlesbrough affectionately known as the ‘Boho Zone’.

    Boho Residential Towers

    In response to Middlesbroughs elected Mayors ambition for Middlesbrough to benefit from high rise city centre living,  Logic were appointed by Middlesbroughs new Local Housing Company, Middlesbrough Homes to design two identical 20 storey residential towers.

    Boho Masterplan

    Commissioned by Middlesbrough Council & the Tees Valley Combined Authority Logic prepared a site wide masterplan for the regeneration of the digital quarter of Middlesbrough affectionately known as the ‘Boho zone.’ Totalling a potential investment opportunity of £250M the masterplan identified opportunities for commercial, residential, leisure, retail & education use.
