Working directly for the Mayor of Middlesbrough, Logic were commissioned to extend our initial concept for Boho 10 and take it literally ‘to another level’ to better reflect the mayors’ aspirations for the growth of the town by building a 20 storey tower.
Responding to the brief for a tower with 3,000sqft floor plates, the original 4 storey Boho 10 concept was extruded to 20 storeys with a rooftop bar sitting beneath a helicopter landing pad.
The feasibility generated national press for the town not least because it would have taken the accolade of being the highest commercial building in the North of England. A casuality of COVID 19 the mayor was forced to scale back his ambitious plans with the project continuing at a significantly lower height.
